Our commitment
Studio Iron is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our website is usable by as wide an audience as possible, regardless of ability or technology.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
This website aims to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Measures we take
Studio Iron takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Include accessibility throughout our internal policies
- Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices
- Provide continual accessibility training for our staff
- Assign clear accessibility targets and responsibilities
- Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods
- Use semantic HTML, ARIA where appropriate, sufficient colour contrast, scalable text, and keyboard-operable controls
- Provide meaningful alternative text for non-decorative images
- Support assistive technologies including screen readers
Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology

Technical specifications
Accessibility of this website relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:
- HTML
- WAI-ARIA
- CSS
- JavaScript
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.
Known limitations:
- User-generated content: images and descriptions submitted by third-party designers may not always include alternative text. We work with our partners to provide accessible content over time.
- Embedded third-party content: checkout, payment, and certain interactive components are provided by third parties (including Shopify) and their accessibility is governed by those vendors. We choose vendors that publish their own accessibility commitments.
- Older PDFs and media: some historical PDF documents and pre-recorded media may not be fully accessible. We can provide alternative formats on request.
Assessment approach
Studio Iron assesses the accessibility of this website through a combination of:
- Self-evaluation by internal staff
- Automated testing tools
- Manual testing with assistive technologies
- User feedback from people with disabilities
