Shipping overview

Many of our pieces are made to order or held in limited quantities by independent makers. Lead times therefore vary by piece. The estimated production time and country of origin are listed on each product page; please use those as the most accurate guide.

Once a piece is ready, we ship from the maker's studio.

Lead times

Most ready-to-ship pieces leave within 3–5 working days of order confirmation. Made-to-order pieces follow the production time noted on the product page.

Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the destination amd the piece. White-glove delivery and installation are quoted separately on request.

Duties, taxes & customs

Orders shipped outside the UK and EU may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the order total.

We declare orders accurately for customs and cannot mark shipments as gifts or undervalue them.

Damaged or missing items

Inspect your delivery on arrival. If a piece arrives damaged or is missing from your order, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@studioiron.com with photographs of the packaging and the piece. We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

Returns

Returns are subject to the independent makers.

The following are not eligible for return:

  • Made-to-order, custom, and bespoke pieces
  • Limited editions and one-of-a-kind works
  • Pieces marked as final sale
  • Items damaged by misuse or normal wear

Specific pieces may have additional return terms set by the maker; these are noted on the product page and take precedence over this general policy.

How to return

To start a return:

  1. Email info@studioiron.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and the reason for return.
  2. We will confirm eligibility and provide return instructions, including the return address and preferred carrier.
  3. Pack the piece securely in its original packaging and ship it back via the agreed carrier.
  4. Once received and inspected, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 working days.

Return shipping is paid by the customer except where the piece arrived damaged, faulty, or incorrect.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 working days of receiving and inspecting the returned piece. Original outbound shipping is non-refundable except where required by law. Duties and taxes paid on import may be reclaimable from your local customs authority — we are not able to refund these on your behalf.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. EU and UK consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal on standard online purchases under the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). This right does not apply to goods made to a consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.
