Sylvie Macmillan is a London based craftswoman with a focus on mosaicked homewares. She uses responsibly sourced natural materials to create her adaptation shell art. Avoiding the traditional formulaic motifs of classic shell art, she aims to display these specimens as if they had grown naturally from the armature they’re fixed to.
